Win a Future Mrs. Planner Book!

Win a Future Mrs. Planner Book!

If you are not going to hire a wedding planner, you’ll need something to stay organized. Two local entrepreneurs decided to create the budget bride’s best friend… the Future Mrs. Planner.

Future Mrs. Planner

Future Mrs. Planner The creators of the Future Mrs. Planner conceived this idea last year when they realized there was a niche that needed to be filled in the Canadian market. Looking through planning books already on store shelves, they found that they were mostly bulky and more of a burden to have around. They also wanted to make it easy for DIY brides by not having them look through thousands of available online templates in order to create their own book. So they created something compact, stylish and functional. The $59.99 planner acts as the couple’s “Wedding Bible” – anything and everything wedding-related will be recorded in this book, from important dates, vendor and bridal party contact info, tasks to be completed, receipts… anything to do with your wedding planning will be found here. It’s a great way to stay organized. I know, with the huge amount of electronic apps right now, you’re probably thinking that all the info you need can be stored in your cell phone… BUT there are those (like me) who need to physically write things down, and honestly, electronic data don’t make for nice keepsakes after the wedding. You’d be able to look fondly through this book after the wedding and reminisce. I asked them to send me a book so I can have a look and here’s what I love about it.

Future Mrs. Planner

  • Customizable calendar – Whether you’re engaged in February or November, you can easily create your own timeline in the book. There’s also a spot for a to-do list next to the calendar.
  • Detailed checklists – Tasks are sorted by when they suggest you complete them.
  • Fun prints – Keep them in the book or tear them off (they are perforated), frame and hang them in your office or living room. A stylish addition to your home decor.
  • Stylish cover – It’s a gorgeous, sturdy hardcover book and you’ll feel proud to carry this around when you go to consultations. It is also coil bound for easy page flipping.
  • Detailed contact sheets - So detailed, there are even blanks for social media handles.
  • Makeup lists – If you loved what your makeup artist used on you, you can easily write down which product was used so you can purchase for later.
  • Shotlist ideas – There’s a checklist for must-do receiving line photos and also suggestions for photos you want your photographer to take.
  • Detailed Song Playlist – There is a blank for each part of your ceremony and reception so if you bring this list to your DJ, he/she will know exactly what to play and when.
  • Pockets – Each section has a tabbed pocket for receipts, fabric swatches and the like.
  • Advice – The book has some helpful wedding planning advice dispersed throughout.
