3 Fashion Looks with Lover.ly

Lover.ly has asked me to collaborate with them and create some bridal beauty looks for you! They’ve asked me to select my favourite wedding dresses from their collection and accessorize them to my heart’s content. I happily obliged. :) Here’s what I came up with. Click on the collages to find out what items they are and where you can buy them… don’t worry I kept the prices quite affordable :)

The next dress is the Dakota gown from BHLDN. At a price tag of $1,035 USD, this timeless piece will accentuate your curves and is a nice blank canvas to get creative with your look. The way I want to get creative with it is adorn it in gold. Gold is so in right now. I started off with a bold necklace with sparkles, pearls, and a gold ribbon. The cubic zirconia earrings offset the rest of the pieces: the delicate wide cutout bangle and the glittery gold pumps.

This last beauty of a dress is also from BHLDN, the Livia Gown ($800 USD). I decided to keep things simple and chose silver for this palette. Have you noticed my love for bangles yet? I also like the long double strand necklace that would look really nice with the v-neck cut of the dress. The drop earrings are simple yet makes a statement and I thought the bling on the shoes matched the bling on the dress really well.

The first dress is a short lace dress from David’s Bridal for $199 USD. I love this dress because it is sexy, romantic, and feminine while being modest and sophisticated at the same time. I decided to go for just a pop of turquoise for this because the dress is already quite detailed so I didn’t want to overwhelm it too much. The turquoise wrap bracelet is perfect, also a nice “something blue” perhaps? Simple hoop earrings and a stunning yet simple heel to offset the detail and a nice feather headband with a bit of colour and sparkle will finish the look quite well, I think.

Thank you Lover.ly for asking me to do this little fun project. Check out their site for lots of wedding inspiration and ideas. It’s a great asset your wedding planning arsenal.

I usually prefer silver but this gold collection is so dreamy! Especially the shoes and the necklace!
