Vancity Vendor Faves: Rose Bouquets

This is my first ever Vancity Vendor Faves segment. I’ve enlisted my Vancity Vendors to show me their favourites for the week’s current topic… rose bouquets! Have a look at their beautiful rosy creations!

Sunflower Florist

See above feature photo.

Sunflower Florist designed some bouquets for the 2nd Ultimate Shootouts event and May has chosen one of them as her favourite. This vintage/garden themed bouquet consists of miniature roses, tulips,  hydrangea, dusty leaf, & button spray mum.

Just Fresh Concepts‘ Justyna Seckler chose to submit a classic red rose bouquet with a modern twist. She used a combination of red bacarra and pole position roses, garden roses and accents of ranunculus and jewels.

Buy the Bunch

It’s no secret that Sam Solis of Buy the Bunch LOVES roses, so I can imagine how hard it was for him to choose a favourite. He came up with this bouquet with garden variety roses called Yves Piaget, which have large magenta petals, open cabbage-like blooms that, Sam says, are often mistaken as peonies. This type of rose is quite fragrant and has a vase life of up to 6 days.
