The Tri-Cities Baker’s Market

May 14th, 2011 by Jeannine

Something Sweet For You

If you have a sweet tooth like I do, you’ll want to stop by the Tri-Cities Baker’s Market happening this summer in Coquitlam. Local bakers will be showing off their cakes, breads, pastries and other goodies, on 5 separate Saturdays from May until August. There will be FREE parking, FREE admission, and best of all FREE samples! Kimberley Mulla is the brainchild of this operation. She has her own baking business (Kimberley’s Kitchen) and thought that there was a need for a market that “connected people with beautiful, artisan, handbaked food.” Great idea! :) If you haven’t booked a baker for your wedding yet, this will be a great opportunity to meet some local talent who can potentially make your wedding cake, cupcakes, or even some edible favors!
