Vancity Vendor: PetitePuf

Vancity Bride: PetitePuf

PetitePuf I first became aware of PetitePuf at the Brock House Wedding Show last month. I was very excited to see a mobile cotton candy vendor as it was something I haven’t seen done before in the industry ever since I started blogging. They were giving out cotton candy at the show so I sampled their mango chilli flavour and wow I was so impressed. I decided to get to know them a little better so I emailed owner Pippa Henrichsen.

PetitePuf is Vancouver’s first and only mobile organic cotton candy cart and they’re pretty new in Vancouver, having only launched this past July. They’ll spin your guests a cone of their own in one of their 15 different flavours. Where else can you find chai tea or strawberry lemonade flavoured cotton candy? Their glitter ball flavour is also intriguing to me. They also provide take home jars of cotton candy that would make perfect little wedding favours. They take pride in the fact that they use only organic, all natural, kosher, vegan, non-GMO’d, and gluten-free sugar. Mobile cotton candy service pricing starts at $295 for 1 hour of service and includes 1 spinning artist, 2 flavours of choice and 40-60 spun cones (60 cones = $4.91/cone for an hour). Check out their price list here. Keep an eye out for them at wedding shows because who knows, they might be giving away a free package! A Few Words With Pippa…

PetitePuf Why did you decide to serve up cotton candy?
“The story behind the Cotton Candy is that I have ALWAYS loved sweets! (As a child I would spend hours pouring over which 5c candies to choose!) When we had our wedding I was looking for a very special and unique dessert offering for our guests and couldn’t come up with anything besides a candy bar. I was inspired! It took some time and inspiration from our travels internationally before I came up with the idea and haven’t looked back! Who wouldn’t want to play with beautiful and delicious Cotton Candy?”

What do you have to offer for brides with lower budgets?
“Our packages vary in price depending on how many hours of cart service you require for your event. We also offer affordable Cotton Candy Keepsakes for brides on a budget. These pretty mason jars can be used as gifts for wedding guest take-aways or part of a candy bar display!”
