Vancity Vendor: Going to the Chapel

What would you say if I told you you could get married at Hycroft for cheap? Yes, there is a way, thanks to a new Vancouver wedding company called Going to the Chapel. With wedding packages starting at $950, their services are perfect for couples wanting very intimate ceremonies. Included with each package is the use of the Green Solarium at Hycroft for one hour, one parking space, the services of a registered marriage commissioner, seating for up to 20 guests, and a hostess who will greet you and your guests to ensure your ceremony goes smoothly.

Going to the Chapel

MJ Ankenman This was all the brainchild of MJ Ankenman. She had several friends who found it difficult finding an affordable private space for small weddings, so she decided to fill the niche. Going to the Chapel was launched in January this year and had their first wedding in April. They are quite new but word is definitely spreading. If you want to get in touch with them, an email or phone call is best. They can also accommodate a location visit so you can see the beautiful room for yourself as well as have a one on one with MJ. Check out their website for more photos and videos and be a fan on Facebook.
